Leave Colour

 

 

Leave colour is an interesting technique that allows all colours to be removed from the scene apart from one. This creates a dramatic focus on one of the parts of the scene. It is accomplished by using the leave colour tool in premier pro and dragging it to te video clip. Then select in the options the ink dropper tool and dragging it to the colour you want to stay. Selected whether it works based on RGB or Hue allows you to choose how it differentiates between colours. Hue leaves a better finish as it includes the objects colour even if it is in shadow. I used my focus pull video for this as it creates an interesting finsih with the green.
