The feedback we recieved for our first rough cut had a mixture of good and bad.
- The jumpscare worked really well
- Titles were well recieved
- Music was really good at building tension
- Some creative shots used (e.g: Dominoes)
- Good use of focus pulls
- The scenes were too dark in most places except where it was deliberately dark
- The plot was hard to follow
- More scenes needed to finish the trailer
Some of the negatives could be boiled down to the fact that we were still missing a few pieces of footage that helped explain the plot, where he got the box and a few other details in between. The other main concern was the fact that the trailer ended up being much darker than it had been on Premier Pro and so some scenes weren't as easily vsable as they should have been.
